Get involved

Would you like to get involved in supporting research into, and development of, safe and effective medicines for children? Would you like to share any experience you have of dealing with a sick or disabled child?

We are looking for your help! There are many ways in which you can be involved, including activities that are designed to fit in with your interests and the time you have available. Some examples are:

  •      Working in partnership alongside researchers, doctors and nurses.
  •      Reading, advising and informing us on various stages of the research process.
  •      Commenting on information (including this website) that is produced for children and families.
  •      Attending a focus group to discuss the effects of running a study.
  •      Joining a local or national advisory group that meets at least three times a year.
We are always looking for young people, parents and other carers to get involved. You might be a brother, a sister or a friend of someone who is sick or disabled. If you live outside of the Trent Region, we can put you in touch with the Consumer Liaison Officer at the MCRN Coordinating Centre. If you think you might like to help, or you would just like to know more, please contact us. We will be very pleased to hear from you.
